What copyright laws are applicable to the paintings?
Kindly note that copyright is NOT transferred if you buy original artwork. The artist always retains the copyright. Reproduction of original artwork is not permitted.

How long does it take to dispatch an original painting?
If available in stock, an original painting takes two days in Rwanda and 7 to 10 days to reach the buyer. However, it can take a short or a long time, depending on the location. We hope to decrease this period by constantly looking for better and safer alternatives.
How long does it take you to dispatch Limited Edition Prints?
When the prints are available in stock, they will be shipped in between 24 and 48 hours. Nevertheless, if the prints aren’t available within the store (which is frequently the case), they are ordered from Rigobert’s printer in no more than 24 hours. After that, it habitually takes around five extra working days for Rigobert’s printer to make the ordered print available and get it shipped back to Rigobert for signing, numbering, and freight. Please, kindly put this in mind when ordering. With shipping freight time included, you can expect to get your ordered print within 15 working days (in stock) and up to 24 working days (exceptional/ particular/ unusual order).
How long does shipping take?
DHL takes from 5 to 10 working days, depending upon your location. To the USA – about ten days, Europe – about seven days, Canada – about eight days, Asia – about eight days. Please contact Rigobert via the CONTACT PAGE if you would like specific shipping times.
How do you package paintings and prints?
Original paintings and prints are sent, rolled in a tube. However, if the buyer wants paintings or prints framed, we will add a fee due to increased painting weights. Please contact Rigobert via the CONTACT PAGE to know how much our partnering shipping company would charge.
Is there a handling fee?
Handling and packaging are billed together into the price of shipping.
Will my package be insured?
Yes. Insurance is included in the price of all paintings and prints. However, if there are uncertain events like damage/theft of either paintings or prints when in transit, a refund or replacement of paintings/prints is given to the buyer.
Will I have to pay taxes or duties?
Some countries impose the tax others do not. Moreover, we advise you to reach out to your country’s customs and excise department for further information.

Can I order an exclusive painting?
Yes, you can. You will need to submit a concept or a photo, picture ,etc as required.
